The El Dorado Union High School District Budget Department provides budgetary oversight and program compliance for all District funds.

 

The Budget Department prepares and distributes funding allocations to school sites and programs annually. They prepare legally required reports for the Board to review. They prepare staffing allocations and coordinate the District’s position control system to match budgeted staffing levels. They also prepare financial information to assist the District’s Administration and Board of Trustees in the education decision making process. The budget department monitors expenditures to maximize resources and to insure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Not later than 45 days after the governor signs the annual Budget Act, public school districts shall make available for public review any revisions in revenues and expenditures that it has made to its budget to reflect the funding made available by the Budget Act of 2023: SB 101.
