El Dorado

This class is designed to provide the student with entry-level dental assisting skills, including everything from dental office procedures and practices to dental patient care. Community Classroom training site placements are available in local dental offices during the second semester. These placements offer the opportunity to participate in the care of patients in a dental environment, while networking and obtaining information for future education and employment.  The student is encouraged to develop advanced knowledge of the dental profession after completion of this course, while working as a dental assistant or by attending one of the colleges offering dental related instruction.
