Career Technical Education/ROP

Welcome to Career Technical Education/ROP Program

Career Technical Education (CTE) and the Regional Occupational Program (ROP) are part of the California public school system. CTE's primary focus is to prepare students to successfully meet the ever-changing nature of today's technical workplace and the need to fill high-demand jobs with highly skilled applicants. ROP is a key component of the Career Technical Education Program, providing course concentrations and advanced training through its "capstone" courses.

Animal Health

This course is for students who are at least 16 years old who have an interest in animals and the animal health industry.

Auto Engine

This course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities for entry-level employment in the automotive service industry. Click here for more information about the Auto Engine program.

Cosmetology

Become a licensed cosmetologist! In 1,600 hours, students will learn all of the things necessary to take the California State Board Examination course of study: cutting, coloring, manicuring, pedicuring, facials, makeup and much more. Click here for more information about the Cosmetology program.

Culinary Arts
