attendance
attendance
ODLP does take daily attendance during all core classes. Teachers will take roll based on students being physically present in the Zoom or Google Meets classroom lesson and students are expected to attend the entire online session. While a student’s camera can be off, if students are not engaging or not responding, they will be marked absent.
If you need to excuse an absence, please email ODLPattendance@eduhsd.k12.ca.us or call 530-622-6212 xt. 7006 and let us know your students name, grade, and class they will be missing or did miss.
In Apex/Edgenuity courses, attendance is based on work production. Student session time and progress is checked weekly to determine the number of days per week of positive attendance awarded.

Student Testimonials
"The main difference between ODLP and in-person learning at my home site is that the ODLP program is much more flexible. What I like about it in particular is that it has allowed me to work more at my own pace. Being able to adapt to how much more or less time I needed to spend on something made me feel less stressed about schoolwork. Because of this, I felt like I was really able to learn and do my best work. ODLP is well-suited for students to work more independently, while still making it easy for students to reach out to teachers and classmates for help. Overall, ODLP is very adaptable and is well-suited for students' individual needs."
