COVID-19

To ensure that our students have the best possible learning experience, it is important to prioritize regular attendance. Every day in school counts!
Since the end of the pandemic, the guidelines for school attendance have been updated. To eliminate any confusion about these changes, we encourage you to review the following guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health and Human Services:

Fever:      Stay home if a fever is of 100.4 F (38 C) or higher.
Return when fever went away over the night and is gone in the morning without the use of medications such as Tylenol, Advil, or Motrin (acetaminophen or ibuprofen)
Vomiting:    Stay home if vomiting has occurred 2 or more times in 24 hours.
Return when vomiting has ended overnight, and your child is able to hold down liquids and food.  Recommend frequent handwashing.
Please note:  current guidelines for COVID-19 mirror those for other illnesses and do not require a negative COVID test to return to school.
By following these guidelines and working together towards our shared goal of ensuring our students' success, we can create a healthy and safe learning environment for everyone! Let's make this a year of maximum attendance and maximum learning.
Thank you for your partnership.
